Mentora, a Brazilian HRTech startup, has recently raised $300,00 in a pre-seed round led by DOMO.VC.iFood Co-founders Guilherme Bonifácio, with participation from Eduardo Baer. With the financing, the company plans to enhance its technology and consolidate its customer base.
Founded in 2023 by Marina Proença, Wagner Cassimiro, Gabriel Goichmann, and Bruno Kloss, Mentora defines itself as a “hybrid intelligence” platform, blending technology and human experience. In practice, it combines in-person sessions with experts and offers, in a virtual environment, an AI that adjusts guidance to each company’s needs and challenges. The startup aims to help leaders face the challenges of modern leadership in a hyper-personalized way and help companies achieve their business goals.
According to the Founder, Marina Proença, the technology adapts to each company’s behavioural profile and needs.
Mentora was created to reinvent leadership development, combining cutting-edge technology with guidance from specialized professionals. The platform uses a combination of artificial intelligence and human support to develop leaders within companies. First, it understands the culture, challenges and objectives of each organization. With this information, leaders define their development goals, and Mentora’s AI offers personalized guidance, taking into account the company’s needs and the profile of each leader. It assists leaders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with daily challenges and questions. The platform adapts to the unique needs of each leader, combining efficient methodologies with an essential human touch.
To avoid relying solely on the chatbot, the firm also offers workshops and small group meetings, where leaders discuss their challenges with experts.
Mentora plans to close another round of funding in 2025 and expand its reach to medium and large businesses.
