Launched in 2016, Deerwalk Learning Center is an initiative of Deerwalk Group founded with the aim of addressing the gap in the education system in Nepal. Led by Deerwalk Group’s Digital Media Team, DLC focused on developing and delivering video lectures and tutorials for Grade I to XII students based on the curriculum developed by Curriculum Development Center, Ministry of Education of Government of Nepal.

DLC believes that this initiative will help students, especially from public schools of Nepal who do not have proper resources or access to quality teachers but have some kind of access to the internet. Since its inception, the organization has researched extensively in developing video tutorials on several topics that are best suited for students across the country.

Now, after three years of extensive research and development, DLC’s video lectures on various topics are officially available for anyone seeking quality education in Nepal. The site currently contains 1700+ video lectures covering 30+ subjects from Grade IV to X.

How to access Deerwalk Learning Center’s video lectures and tutorials?

Deerwalk Learning Center’s video lectures or recorded tutorials can be easily accessed through their official website dlc.dwit.edu.np. However, if you prefer more personalized experience, DLC has also introduced its mobile app; you can easily download from the app store and watch the videos at your own convenience. While all the materials are the same as that of on their site, it is a little more organized and easy to navigate when you use through the app.

While how you prefer to watch the video lectures is entirely up to you, there are varied options for you. You can either watch the videos online or you can download and watch them later. Or, if you don’t want to watch online or offline or even download the app, you also have the option to watch them on TV. Deerwalk Learning Center has recently collaborated with NET TV. So you can watch the video lectures and tutorials on NET TV anywhere, anytime, and that too without any cost. DLC’s videos are completely free. Perhaps, this is how free education really should be. Hope this initiative of Deerwalk Group will help Nepali students, especially those who are deprived of quality teachers and materials, to acquire quality education.
