The latest funding is a follow-on from the seed round the company had raised in December 2020.

According to the company, the amount raised will be utilized for business expansion across India and the Middle East, with a core focus on providing children aged 3 to 15 access to premium content across the world. The company also plans to hire educationists across the world.

Founded in July 2020, Instrucko is a one-to-one language learning platform with a focus on emotional intelligence and critical thinking. It specializes in teaching English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, German, Hindi, Creative Writing, and Public Speaking to children aged 3 to 15 years.

Instrucko delivers live content from teachers who have been trained at Oxford, Cambridge, IIM, and other Ivy League universities. It delivers interactive digital content with creative stories that will help build children’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills. The startup also provides guidance to EtonX courses for learners aged 13 and above to help teenagers get into top global universities.

Speaking about the platform and on the new development, Devvaki Aggarwal, Founder & CEO of Instrucko, said,

“Instrucko prides itself on creating superior content to improve the learning pedagogy. Our focus has always been on great content and great teaching while technology has only been an aggregator. Our mission is to equip learners with the skills needed to succeed globally. This funding will help us expand, create more content, and focus on technology and AI-powered analytics.”

Instrucko claimed its business-to-business (B2B) segment continues to see growing demand from schools across India and the Middle East. These schools utilize Instrucko’s content and teacher training courses. Instrucko is focused on bringing more certified and specialized courses for educational institutions.

Manish Karani, CEO of MVK Group, said,

“After investing and exiting multiple consumer brands over the past few years, we were excited to invest in Instrucko, which we strongly believe brings the highest quality of education to the Indian market. Instrucko has been unique in its content and delivery which is more suitable for global marketplaces, giving each one of their customers an edge.”

Instructo currently has offices in London, Mumbai, and Delhi, with its courses developed by educationists from the University of Oxford.
