  2. Online Quiz and Poll Creation
  3. Student Response System

Platform:- Web, Android, IOS

Usability:- For getting started users need to sign up with either a teacher or a student account. Also, users can register through a Android or IOS device by downloading the free Socrative app from the app store. After login, teachers can easily assign a room number for students’ to join, and can create single question activities with multiple choice, true/false or short answer questions or quiz based activities and manage them. Teachers can also create quizzes which students can solve in a ‘Space Race’, by running them as games. Students can solve them as individuals or as a team to finish the race first. Also users can create a quiz using the prebuilt templates on Excel and then import them to the platform. At the time when students take the quiz they have to provide their names before starting, which allows teachers to see who all are participating and how well they are doing the quiz as teachers can check out live results as students answer a question. When the quiz is finished, Socrative offers users to download the results, and even email them.

Prices:- Free

Our Review:- Socrative is a good student response system for creating quick student engagement. Socrative allows users to work from any device while they are connected to the internet. It allows users to see the responses of their classmates and interact with them in real time. With Socrative, teachers can also have students’ feedback on the lessons to see their effectiveness and improve if required. Also they can create poll questions for their entire class and seek real-time response. One of the good features is that teachers can create their own room to interact with a particular set of students (a class). With polls, quizzes and reports available on the platform as well as on email, users can easily access them and can download the results directly from Socrative. One of the best features is the ‘Exit Ticket’. It’s a very nice feature that teacher can use to extract students’ response by asking questions like “what they learned through the day and what will be the topic for tomorrow” and hall all the tickets submitted online.
