Fresh Meat

It is a go-to comedy-drama series revolving around the ultimate British university experience. The fresh meat follows the lives of six freshers students at a university in Manchester who live in a shared home rather than uni halls.

In this four seasons series, you'll see them face many student-related issues, from grades and exams to part-time work and partying, which I'm sure is somewhat relatable if you're a student.

The King shows how young Henry faces war and deceit in England after being made king post his brother's death. Since students are future leaders, and therefore, apart from being educated, they must understand the aspects of leadership. Students would, in turn, learn and apply such factors in real life once they become leaders.

The film talks about how high school students struggled with love over the past summer. Events happen before they get into college.

It's clear that most high school friends don't finish college, and thus, friendship or love is tied to the end. Some students also prefer to continue their academic studies abroad, reducing their chances of meeting friends. The movie is a must-watch because it gives students an insight into the real world after school. It prepares students to accept that graduating from high school could negatively affect most relationships. Therefore, it is one of the best middle school shows on Netflix.
