The Noida-based startup plans to use the funds to build its tech platform further and expand in different training areas such as sales, operations, finances, and tech. It also plans to expand to more cities for offline training and customized corporate training for groups and individuals.

Co-founded by entrepreneurs Arbab Usmani and Abhishek Kumar Gupta, Uppskills helps the community of students thrive by helping them find jobs, internships, and exciting opportunities with innovative employers. The platform provides dynamic training to close the skills gap. It makes sure that every learner with a dream gets adequate access to the support structures required to succeed. Every learner at UppSkill gets access to lifetime community support, access to mentors, startups, and a growing network of professionals across domains.

Speaking about the fundraise, Co-founder and CEO of Uppskill, Arbab Usmani, said in a statement,

“With this partnership, we aim to empower more people and make our ecosystem better. We will use this fund to scale our learning platform by investing in technology so that we can impact more lives and empower more students.”

With this round, Uppskill marks its first institutional funding, and the current valuation of the firm now stands at $1 million.

Uppskill has played a pivotal role in education in marketing, and in the future, the startup aims to grow and empower more people through its courses. The platform has a community of 27,000 members and claimed to have trained 1000+ students, delivered 8000+ hour of classes.

With this new funding, the Uppskill team is ready to face new goals and targets on the near horizon. Ok! Acquired and Uppskill’s joint efforts are now working towards their main goal of sustainability and growth in the digital tech sector and growing together in the new digital India.
