Interactive Cares, a Dhaka-based one-stop virtual EdTech platform for creating employability through courses, career and learning paths, has raised $100,000 in seed funding from Accelerating Asia’s accelerator programme’s 9th cohort. According to the company, the funds will be used to launch a new AI-powered product and expand its offerings.

Rare Al Samir and Jamila Bupasha Khushbu co-founded Interactive Cares in 2020 with the aim of empowering millions of people with Bangladeshi roots across the country. It collaborated with partners and experts to create courses and experienced phenomenal growth. Through events, campaigns, courses, master classes, and real-time communication, the platform promotes academic, career, and skill development and cultural flourishing. The company has been working on a vision in which enrolled students get certificates from Interactives Cares collaborating partner universities and will be hired by the partner company once the course is completed.

Accelerating Asia is an early-stage venture capital fund focusing on pre-Series A startups in Southeast and South Asia. In the latest cohort of Accelerating Asia Ventures, eight startups have been selected from Japan, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, with Interactive Cares being the only Bangladeshi startup for this cohort.

Previously, the startup was selected for the SuperCharger Ventures cohort, a London-based EdTech-focused virtual accelerator programme. Interactive Cares is the first Bangladeshi startup to participate in a new format of the SCV accelerator programme.

In March of this year, Interactive Cares announced a $220,000 pre-seed A round led by Flagship Ventures, with participation from Mohammad Maaz, Blue Aura Ventures in the United States, and other strategic investors.
