Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions and the University of Denver, USA, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Ghaziabad. The MOU signing ceremony was held at the Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions’ corporate office in the presence of a delegation from the University of Denver (DU) and the Jaipuria Group’s leadership team.

According to the official statement, the MoU formalizes the collaboration between the two educational institutions in crucial areas comprising student and faculty exchange, collaborative research projects, collaborative online international learning projects, knowledge exchange programmes, and other academic cooperation in fields of mutual interest.

The University of Denver delegation was led by Mary Clark, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor and Dr Uttiyo Raychaudhuri, Vice Provost for Internationalization, and senior leadership across the university, including Deans and Directors. The Jaipuria Group was represented by Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman; Dr Daviender Narang, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management; Dr Rajiv R. Thakur, Director General, Jaipuria School of Business; and Ms Shalini Nambiar, Director Principal; Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad.

At the signing ceremony, Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman of the Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions, said:

This collaboration paves the way for creating a dynamic synergy between the Jaipuria Group and the University of Denver. It advances the vision of NEP 2020, which advocates internationalization of education, collaborative research, and global student and faculty exchange. It also strengthens the educational ties between India and the USA.

The University of Denver is a leading private university with an R1 classification from the Carnegie Foundation, indicating very high research activity. It is deeply committed to serving the public good through innovative faculty and student research, community projects, and effective collaborations.

Mary Clark, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor added:

The University of Denver follows a progressive vision of collaborating with institutions worldwide to share knowledge and exchange best practices. By collaborating with the Jaipuria Group, we aim to explore new possibilities for transforming education through a diversity of ideas, talents and expertise.

The Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions is a leading conglomeration of 25 institutions in north and central India, including a premier teacher training academy. The group has a 78-year educational legacy, boasting 20,000 students, 15,000 alums, and 800 educators.
