The 6-month-long immersive programme, approved by the advisory board at the School of Digital Health, is a testament to the dedication of the faculty members at IIHMR University. This course is designed to be flexible, allowing participants to learn at their own pace. It will be conducted online, but those who prefer on-campus discussions can contact the university officials. The curriculum is a blend of training methods suitable for working professionals, including lecture-cum-discussions, case studies/analysis, project work, term papers, and assignments.

Speaking about the development, Dr PR Sodani, President of IIHMR University, said:

Since its inception, IIHMR University is continuously working towards improving management practices in the healthcare sector. Considering the current cleft between public healthcare in the country and the digital healthcare ecosystem, IIHMR University understands the vital need to develop healthcare professionals with digital health innovations to promote remote & advanced healthcare quality and accessibility. Hence, our expertise has made us decide to brew this course filled with flavours of cutting-edge technologies for our diverse alumni network and other public healthcare working professionals. I welcome all the participants and congratulate my team for their efforts and the resounding success of this launch.

Dr Swapnil Gadhave, a faculty member and course coordinator, shared an introduction of the course’s details and said that students will gain core competencies in integrating the digital landscape with the healthcare ecosystem and help them set out on a comprehensive journey.

IIHMR University is dedicated to improving health standards through better management and related programmes. It seeks to accomplish this through management education, research, training, consultation, and institutional networking from a national and global perspective. The University offers the following postgraduate programmes: MBA (Hospital and Health Management), MBA (Pharmaceutical Management), MBA (Development Management), and MBA (Healthcare Analytics).
