The new centre in Alwarpet features a state-of-the-art performance arena equipped with the best-in-class instruments. These facilities are designed to enhance the learning experience by allowing students to develop their performance and stage skills in a professional environment. The performance arena and all other facilities will be exclusively available to Artium students, ensuring a focused and immersive educational experience.

Commenting on the launch, Vivek Raicha, Co-founder and President of Artium Academy, said:

The launch of our first offline centre in Chennai would be a landmark moment for Artium Academy. We are committed to providing world-class music education that is accessible to all. Expanding into offline centres, we aim to reach more students and foster a more profound sense of community and engagement. Our goal at Artium is to create an environment where students can thrive. With top-notch facilities, leading industry maestros, and a dedicated team of teachers, we provide the tools and support our students need to excel in their musical journeys.

National award-winning playback singer and carnatic vocalist P. Unnikrishnan, as well as Artium’s Chief of Pedagogy and well-known voice expert in India, Ananth Vaidyanathan, honoured the opening of the Chennai centre. Following the inauguration, both artists delivered a masterclass to the kids, imparting their knowledge and encouraging the young students to begin their musical careers.

The Chennai Centre, a hub of diverse musical interests, offers a wide range of courses. Its vocal training courses cater to all, from Tamil cinema music to Carnatic classical music, Western vocals to karaoke, stage skills, and more. In addition, the platform offers instrument courses in keyboard, piano, and guitar, with more to come as the centre grows. Its eight highly knowledgeable instructors, each a master in their field, are dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality learning experiences.

Highlighting the academy’s mission, Ananth Vaidyanathan, Chief of Pedagogy at Artium and India’s Leading Voice Expert, said:

Chennai is an international hub for Music and Arts. We at Artium feel privileged to launch our first offline training centre at this Temple of Sangeetham. The Artium Centre is our humble offering in service of music and the aspirations of multitudes who desire to achieve their potential in music. With the rich, unparalleled learnings & experiences of leading musical legends who constitute the Artium Academic board, we offer a unique training methodology to bring out the best in all kinds of aspiring musicians!

The Chennai Academy will also host periodic workshops, masterclasses, and Vidyaarambham ceremonies by renowned musical legends. These sessions will provide students with invaluable insights and mentorship. Select talented students will have the unique opportunity to be groomed by these legends, enriching their educational journey.

Artium Academy is a bunch of passionate music enthusiasts who believe that people with the same mindset and passion can create a revolutionary product. It is on a path to create a platform that delivers a “Stand-out Experience” for the users of its platform – the learners, the teachers, the performers and the wannabe performers. The company spreads happiness through events/quizzes/contests and other activities that bring participation, better cohesiveness, teamwork, problem-solving and other essential life skills. This helps in building an organization and a very bonded team.
