Adda247, India’s premier multilingual learning platform, has strategically ventured into the Technology and Digital Skilling space with the acquisition of PrepInsta. This strategic move is part of Adda247’s expansion plans, marking a significant shift from a leading test prep platform to an integrated provider of job-focused education and skilling programmes across public and private sector jobs.

With this acquisition, Adda247 and PrepInsta will work closely with job aspirants and enterprises to build high-quality talent for technology and digital companies. PrepInsta has a strong pipeline of programmes in areas such as Gen AI, AI/ML, Cloud, Data, and the broader digital landscape to help job aspirants prepare for careers in GCCs, GSIs, and Digital Companies.

Speaking on the deal, Bimaljeet Singh Bhasin, CEO, Skilling & Higher Education Business, Adda247, said:

In the last 5 years, PrepInsta has helped over 1.2 lakh professionals prepare for careers in leading Tech Companies. This collaboration opens up opportunities for us to launch job-focused skilling initiatives across B2C, helping professionals build Tech and Digital careers, and Enterprises, helping organizations build high-quality talent.

PrepInsta (PI), founded in 2019, has rapidly become a go-to platform for engineering students preparing for assessments and interviews. It helps them secure job opportunities as Data Scientists, Full-Stack Developers, Software Engineers, and Quality Analysts. The technology sector is one of the largest employers in India, with over 5.5 million people working across the sector.

The company also recently launched its inaugural ESOP buyback plan, benefiting over 130 employees. These strategic initiatives underscore Adda247’s commitment to expanding its portfolio across various sectors and creating impactful, long-term value for learners and professionals alike.

Founded in 2016 by Anil Nagar and Saurabh Bansal, Adda247 aims to make education affordable for over 500 million learners across Bharat, tier-3 & 4 cities, and rural India. The platform offers online courses for over 500 exams and is backed by investors like Westbridge, Google, Info Edge, Asha Impact and more.
