Codevidhya, a prominent EdTech institution dedicated to equipping school students with extensive coding proficiency, has recently raised an undisclosed amount in a funding round led by HNI Investors, with participation from existing investors. With the funds, the Jaipur-based company aims to empower and upskill students across ages and geography through new-age learning techniques using a phygital model that complements the school curriculum.

Founded by Shivram Choudhary, Codevidhya helps kids learn, adapt and conquer the demanding future of 21st-century skills. It provides a knowledgeable yet fun-filled platform for young coders to ace and master the skill of coding. The startup believes that coding is the most appropriate tool to invigorate skills such as logical reasoning, problem-solving, creative thinking, and others.

Codevidhya has marked its presence as a pioneering force in education. With a strong foothold in B2B, B2C, and B2G markets, the firm has offered comprehensive financial literacy, coding skills, computer books, and learning platforms for Grades 1 to 10, and online courses for the age group 6 to 16.

Speaking on the fundraising, Founder & CEO of Codevidhya, Shivram Choudhary, said:

The infusion garnered through this round will play a pivotal role in propelling the institution’s ambitious expansion plans and elevating the calibre of its offerings.

Shiv also stated that having a stronghold in various segments like B2B, B2C, and B2G has helped it excel in the EdTech crisis and helped it secure a funding round amidst the funding winter, especially in EdTech. Codevidhya is a company catering to students through all the channels. It is the only company that can leverage its B2B volume of students to acquire B2C customers.

He added:

The Rajiv Gandhi Innovation Award, given among 4000 startups, is a testament to the institution’s outstanding contributions in innovation. This acknowledgement by the Government of Rajasthan not only underscores our unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of education but also highlights our dedication to ensuring the accessibility of education to many students and fostering an enriched learning environment.

In addition to its testament to growth, the company has been awarded a substantial grant of INR 75 Lakhs for its remarkable achievement in receiving the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Innovation Award from the Government of Rajasthan.

In 2021, Codevidhya had announced an undisclosed amount in its seed funding round from Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund (RVCF), Digital Futurists Angels Network, and angel investor Vinay Choudhary.
