Coto, a women-only social community app developer, has partnered with Million Minds, an EduTech and media-tech platform. They have collaborated to launch ‘She Academy.’ According to an official release, this joint initiative aims to empower and engage women aged 18 to 20 who are poised to enter the corporate world.

The first phase of ‘She Academy’ has begun, focusing on significant metropolises such as Chennai, New Delhi, Pune, and Bangalore. Following this launch, the initiative plans to expand its reach to more than 30 cities, encompassing more than 100 Indian campuses, per the release. The move aims to tap into the potential of young women on college campuses across the country by offering online and offline college workshops and skill sessions. ‘She Academy’ is divided into two sections: one on personality development, which includes workshops on soft skills, life skills, mental health and wellbeing, and the other on entrepreneurship, upskilling, and technological advancements.

Coto is a community platform for women based on Web3 principles, promising consent and ongoing ownership. It represents a world that is free and responsible and built on participative ownership, in which women have the freedom to express, engage, and be rewarded without fear of toxicity.

Commenting on the latest development, Co-founder of Coto, Aparna Acharekar, said:

With a common goal of empowering young girls and helping them realize their true potential at the right age, we aim to revolutionize how women’s careers take shape.

These sessions will be available exclusively through the ‘She Academy community on Coto, allowing students to participate from anywhere in the world. The community will feature handpicked experts conducting skill development sessions and answering questions, focusing on tier I and II cities. This programme can potentially unleash a wealth of talent from across the country, making them available for employment in various industries. Coto and Million Minds’ cooperation demonstrates their commitment to empowering young women and fostering industry-wide collaboration for HR excellence, as stated by the company.

Sanjoy Chakrabarty, Founder & CEO of Million Minds, stated:

Our dream is to foster the ecosystem that encourages campus students, especially Gen Z girls, to think about their careers before even stepping out into the world. This association with Coto is significant as it enables our dream to go online, thus ensuring an extensive, location-agnostic outreach.

Million Minds, co-founded by Sanjoy Chakrabarty, Ashish Lala, and Upendra Rai, aspires to student entrepreneurs from campuses across India, with a particular focus on tier II and III cities, where the company believes there is enormous potential despite a lack of resources. In order To deliver the best of the startup space on Indian campuses, the platform has built a collaborative ecosystem that brings together all startup stakeholders. Million Minds’ co-founders have a shared vision and want to support the startup ecosystem on campuses like their global counterparts do. The organization, launched in 2016, now collaborates with over 500 campuses in over 90 cities nationwide to deliver its Entrepreneurship Programme, effectively designed to nurture a startup dream at every stage and guide the venture’s journey from ideation to execution.
