Uplers, a recruitment platform, has announced UpScreen, an AI-powered talent screening solution designed to improve employers’ evaluation and onboarding of people. The platform claims that artificial intelligence can streamline the identification of the most relevant candidate profiles. According to the statement, it can map the job description, required tech skills, and other hiring criteria before presenting candidates with a series of tech and non-tech questions.

As stated by the company, the UpScreen can record the 30-minute evaluation on camera, adjust questions to meet different difficulty levels, and then evaluate each candidate’s percentile scores in real-time. It then uses data visualization to offer candidates’ information in an easy-to-consume manner to recruiting teams and hiring managers, who will subsequently select and undertake the final interview-based evaluation.

Speaking about the development, Bhuvan Desai, VP of Operations of Uplers, said:

UpScreen truly takes hiring practices into the age of AI, leveraging AI algorithms to redefine how we evaluate talent. We aim to simplify recruitment through this screening tool that surpasses conventional methods. UpScreen empowers businesses to make informed and impartial hiring decisions through comprehensive AI screening reports.

UpScreen offers to utilize advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to analyze resumes, ensuring high accuracy in identifying applicants most suitable for the specific job requirements. Its integration into existing hiring processes hopes to simplify the experience for recruiters, offering ease and efficiency.

Devi Prasad Biswal, Head of Global GTM, 1digitalstack.ai, added:

We were hiring for a Sr. Business Analyst role. After struggling to filter out irrelevant applications, the Uplers team introduced us to UpScreen. After setting Upscreen and adding the required assessment questions, we got the four best profiles from over 100 candidate profiles. Uplers and UpScreen simplified the screening process and saved endless hours in the hiring process. We were able to hire top talent, whom we’ve now onboarded quickly.

Uplers is a tech-enabled company that makes hiring and getting employed reliable, simple, and fast. It was founded during the terrible pandemic period. It connects highly vetted Indian talent with top firms. It provides multiple engagement models that allow hiring companies to be flexible and scalable while offering leading Indian IT and digital professionals freedom and lucrative employment. The startup is already used by hundreds of top companies, from hot startups to multinational organizations, and has over 1 million vetted Indian talent on its platform.
