The Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT Vadodara) has partnered with TeamLease EdTech to provide three online undergraduate programmes in science: BSc in Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. According to an official statement, the programmes are explicitly designed to provide learners with industry-relevant skills that will boost their career potential in India’s rapidly growing technological industry and further align with the government’s goal of developing India into a hub for a globally skilled workforce.
As per the statement, a BSc in Computer Science provides comprehensive programming and system design training, emphasizing machine learning and big data in the case of a BSc in Data Science and Analytics. The BSc in AI and Machine Learning enables students to form themselves into pursuing AI research and development, with all programmes costing Rs 2,53,600 in total.
Speaking about the development, Prof. Dharmendra Singh, Director of IIIT Vadodara, said:
These new online B.Sc. programmes will empower students with current and future-ready skills and open doors to high-growth career opportunities in India’s digital economy.
Learners from all around India will have access to all programmes online through live delivery. Courses are built with industry inputs in mind, but they also include real-world case studies for hands-on experience with relevant technologies.
