IIT Kanpur Foundation for Advanced Consulting, Education and Training (IFACET), established by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, announced a strategic collaboration with Skyy Skill Academy to launch online certification courses in emerging cutting-edge technologies.
According to the official statement, the courses, a product of the combined expertise of IIT Kanpur and Skyy Skill Academy, will cover Electric Vehicle Technology and Powertrain, Autonomous Vehicle and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), Embedded Systems, Vehicle Design and Analysis, ANSYS, SOLIDWORKS, and other emerging technology areas. These courses are designed to empower learners with industry-relevant knowledge, ensuring their readiness for the evolving job market.
Professor Phani, the Chief Investigator at E&ICT Academy IIT Kanpur (a joint venture between IIT Kanpur and MeitY), highlighted the need for such an initiative, saying:
There is a growing demand for professionals trained in technical skills such as CAD and analysis, the Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Embedded systems, etc. in emerging industries. This partnership will help bridge the gap between conventional curriculum and the evolving needs of sunrise sectors with industry-focused hands-on pedagogy.
The online courses, set to begin in the upcoming months, will be easily accessible to learners worldwide. Registration details will be available on both Skyy Skill Academy and IFACET websites, ensuring that anyone with an internet connection and a desire to learn can benefit from these initiatives. This commitment to accessibility underscores the belief in the power of education to transform lives, regardless of geographical or financial constraints.
