Learn Africa Plc, a leading learning resource company with over 60 years of experience, has unveiled its online AI-enabled mobile app, which aims to break down learning obstacles and empower learners to take charge of their education by providing access to a wide range of materials. It is a specific educational mobile application that is transforming learning experiences. The app enables users to learn new skills and knowledge quickly with a wide range of resources and interactive tools.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Lagos, Bala Hassan, managing director of Learn Africa, said the mobile app represents more than just a technological advancement; it is a groundbreaking innovation set to revolutionize how we teach and learn, sparking a new era in education.

Hassan further stated, “Today, we are proud to introduce the Learn Africa Online app, a transformative platform that brings learning to your hands. This app represents more than a technological advancement; it embodies our unwavering commitment to making education accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. With features designed to enhance the learning experience, including access to all our books, assessment questions, and examination materials, the Learn Africa Online app is set to revolutionize how we learn and teach”.

According to Hassan, the app’s benefits extend beyond convenience and functionality.

By harnessing the power of technology, we are breaking down barriers to education and expanding access to learning opportunities for all. He added that the Learn Africa app is your gateway to limitless possibilities, whether you are a student striving for academic excellence, an educator seeking to inspire minds, or a lifelong learner on a quest for knowledge.

The managing director attributed the achievement of the disruptive innovation and groundbreaking development to Learn Africa’s unique heritage, which was previously known as Longman Nigeria Plc. He said that for over 60 years, we have been at the forefront of educational publishing across the country, offering a wide range of books that cater to the needs of learners at all levels.

Learn Africa was founded in 1961 as Longman Nigeria, a book publishing company wholly owned by Longman Group UK Limited, now Pearson Education. The company became a subsidiary of Pearson Plc in 2008 after the latter increased its investment from 29 to 51 per cent. Pearson and Longman Nigeria did, however, agree to separate corporate entities in Nigeria in 2011. Learn Africa Plc’s significant focus is the publication and marketing of textbooks for all levels of education, including nursery, primary, secondary, and university. Today, the company possesses Nigeria’s most diverse collection of books and educational resources and a vast distribution network. The organization strives to provide innovative educational solutions that enhance learning outcomes.
