Logic School of Management, a Veranda Learning enterprise, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP), a state public sector programme of the Government of Kerala. This partnership aims to enhance skill development in the region by offering professional programmes such as Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and other relevant courses. The first batch of these courses is scheduled to begin in July 2024.
The association between Logic School of Management and ASAP is a significant milestone toward providing high-quality education and skill development opportunities to students and professionals in Kerala. The EA, CPA, and CIA programmes are well-known credentials in accounting and finance, with stringent requirements and extensive treatment of essential topics.
Enrolled Agent (EA) Programme
The IRS awards the EA credential, the highest certification for U.S. tax professionals. EAs have extensive knowledge of U.S. tax laws and can represent taxpayers before the IRS. The EA programme will prepare students for the Special Enrollment Examination (SEE) and equip them with the expertise needed for tax practice.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Programme
The CPA credential is globally respected for proficiency in auditing, financial accounting, management accounting, and taxation. The CPA programme will provide comprehensive training to help students pass the Uniform CPA Examination and succeed in their careers.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Programme
The CIA credential is the only globally recognized certification for internal auditors. The CIA programme will prepare students for the CIA examination, equipping them with the skills to perform effective internal audits and improve organizational operations.
Additional Programmes
In addition to EA, CPA, and CIA, Logic School of Management will offer other professional courses to enhance the skill sets of students and professionals in diverse fields. These programmes will be designed to meet the evolving demands of the global job market.
