However, the company did not disclose the terms of the deal.

According to LiveWire, the acquisition will enable the company to grow its share of the contingent direct sourcing market and strengthen its position as a comprehensive workforce management platform. Moreover, it will allow the startup to integrate Arrived’s shift management mobile and desktop applications into its platform and provide an enhanced solution for the placement of contingent and shift workers.

With this deal, software as a service (SaaS) provider LiveHire also plans to expand its technology capabilities to address the extended workforce market, notably “agile shift management and rapid redeployment addressing the needs of workers on shifts and short-term assignments. The acquisition will increase its addressable market in healthcare, manufacturing, and retail verticals.

Founded by Antonluigi Gozzi, LiveHire helps organisations find the people and jobs they love. The company believes that finding and working in a fulfilling career is possible for everyone – it’s vital to healthy people and societies everywhere. The platform works closely with its clients and partners to push innovation forward, turning the startup into the Talent Acquisition & Engagement platform for the world.

Speaking about the acquisition, Chief Executive Officer of LiveHire, Christy Forest, said:

The trust and confidence that Jennifer and her fellow Arrived shareholders have placed in LiveHire through this transaction is a terrific validation of our strategy by people who understand the market and the opportunity so well.

Post the acquisition, Arrived CEO Jennifer Byrne will join LiveHire as its global chief product and technology officer (CPTO). Byrne (LinkedIn profile), formerly chief technology officer of Microsoft’s US division, will serve on the company’s US-based executive team, working out of Phoenix, Arizona.

The Melbourne-based firm claims it has enabled end-to-end recruitment from sourcing to hiring diverse workforces for over 200 clients across 20 verticals globally.

Arrived aims to build digital solutions that bridge the gap between great people and great work. Previously known as GigRonin, the company has a staffing platform that matches workers with curated job opportunities and automates the hiring process. Its technology offers seamless Applicant Tracking System integration for efficient workflows or operates as a stand-alone program.

Meanwhile, LiveHire founder, executive director, and current CPTO Antonluigi Gozzi (LinkedIn profile) will step down.
