With this acquisition, MedVR Education combines NBME’s legacy of supporting medical education and its experience in psychometrics, test development, and research with MedVR Education’s cutting-edge simulation-based learning technology. This presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate on next-generation tools to assist learning and skill development along the medical education, training, and practice continuum.
MedVR Education is an XR training platform that offers off-the-shelf and customized VR simulation training solutions in patient care, critical care nursing skills and healthcare management. While working towards building one of the largest VR libraries for clinical skills, the company aims to provide immersive experiences that promote the practice and application of acquired skills. Universities and healthcare institutions can use MedVR Education’s VR simulations, which can effortlessly be blended into existing curricula or integrated into the Learning Management System.
