ODA Class, a leading EdTech company in India, has recently announced the completion of its series B funding round by securing $500,000. Investors who support the company’s aim include Skywalker Education Technology Co. Ltd. (Singapore), Daituzi Education Technology Corporation Limited, and Matrix Partners China. The new investment demonstrates the company’s dedication to transforming education through innovative technologies.

Founded in 2019, ODA Class offers live online courses for students from Class 1 to 10. Leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies and innovative marketing strategies, the platform provides high-quality education at accessible rates. The firm has rapidly grown with top educators from IITs and NITs, serving over 25,000 long-term students and securing multiple funding rounds to fuel its expansion. It aims to enrol 100,000 students in 2024 while continuing to enhance its learning platform.

Speaking on the fundraising, Finance Head of ODA Class, CA Neeraj Kumar, said:

The latest round of funding showcases that we are headed in the right direction with our plans to transform the EdTech sector. Investors’ trust in our vision has led us to expand ODA Class and realize our plans. With the latest funding, we are well-positioned to enhance our technological capabilities and expand our product offerings. Our focus on AI integration and digital marketing will lead us towards achieving our goal of providing accessible and quality education to students nationwide.

With this new funding, the Bengaluru-based startup plans to allocate it strategically to several key areas to maximize impact, like digital marketing, which will enhance its brand visibility and reach a broader audience. It will also introduce AI-driven features within its app to personalize and improve the learning experience.

Over the past few years, ODA Class has consistently attracted significant investments. In 2021, the company raised US$9,000,000, US$3,000,000 in 2022 and an additional US$250,000 in 2023. Following the latest round of funding, the total funding raised by ODA Class is now US$12,750,000. It is focused on scaling its existing products and reaching a broader user base. The organization’s growth strategy is centred around achieving profitability without further funding.
