Parlo, a new mobile app designed to make learning English easy and enjoyable, was officially introduced in Bangladesh at the Lakeshore Hotel. According to the official statement, the app aims to remove barriers and create an engaging and accessible English language learning platform, fostering global personal and professional growth.

Parlo’s tutorial videos are written, filmed and produced in London, giving them cinematic quality. It also provides engaging practice activities prepared by UK-based English language teachers, making language learning entertaining and compelling.

The app launching event featured key speakers, including Parlo CEO Professor Craig Mahoney and Parlo’s Head of Product and Content Caroline Everard. Their presence underscored Parlo’s commitment to quality education and innovative learning solutions tailored to the Bangladeshi market.

Sharing the platform’s vision, Parlo CEO Professor Craig Mahoney said:

Parlo’s mission is to unlock the potential within each individual by making conversational English accessible to learners across the globe. In today’s interconnected world, English is not just a language but a gateway to opportunities. Launching in Bangladesh enables individuals to access a brighter future, equipping them with skills that can change lives and open doors.

Parlo hopes to bridge educational gaps and meet Bangladesh’s expanding demand for skilled, globally competitive professionals by leveraging The Education Group (London) Ltd’s expertise. Mohammed Salim FCMA, Parlo’s Bangladesh Partner, was joined by significant individuals from the country, including Hasnain Thoufiq Ahmed FCMA, ACCA, Group Business Chief Executive Officer, Rahimafrooz (Bangladesh) Ltd.

Highlighting its learner-centric approach, Caroline Everard, Parlo’s Head of Product and Content, stated:

Our content was designed and written by expert English Teachers in the UK and is accessible to learners of every level, regardless of their prior experience. At Parlo, language should never be a barrier to success. We are thrilled to bring this vision to life in Bangladesh, a country brimming with potential.

Parlo’s Bangladesh Partner FCMA Mohammed Salim, along with notable personalities of the country Dr Nikhil Chandra Shil FCMA, professor, Department of Business Administration, East West University; Arif Khan CMA, FCMA, vice chairman, Shanta Asset Management; M Jahangir Alam FCMA, director and CEO, LEVERnGEAR Ltd, Elias Ahmed FCMA, financial director, Bata Bangladesh; and Md Kausar Alam FCS, FCCA, FCMA, ACA, group CFO, Seven Circle (Bangladesh) Limited were present at the event.
