While Illumnus did not disclose the details of the investors, the startup said it raised the fresh capital from a group of High Networth Individuals (HNIs) and angel investors from Dubai.

Founded in 2018 by Akash Singhal and his brother Akshaya Singhal, Illumnus is a Collaborative Learning Management System (C-LMS) for educational institutions. It provides students and teachers a platform to enhance the classroom experience using artificial intelligence and machine learning. The platform provides institutions with internal digital learning networks, allowing for simpler communications and workflows between students and teachers, as well as administrators and parents.

Commenting on the development and its plans to use the funds, Akash Singhal, Founder and CEO, Illumnus, said in a statement,

“We are very excited about this. We plan to market and expand our services in four countries by the end of this year with an organic and sustainable growth. We have already doubled our team bringing A-players to build a scalable SaaS-based learning management system platform, which the educational institutions always deserved but never got.”

Illumnus brings the classroom together making it easy for teachers and students to focus on what’s important – learning. Using state-of-the-art technology, it makes student-teacher collaboration easy and removed all the barriers that prevent learning. The platform also provides real-time monitoring and performance tracking services.

Issuing a statement on the investment, the investor group expressed its excitement for partnering with the ever-growing company saying,

“We are thrilled to support and help Illumnus grow leaps and bounds. In times where the world of education is increasingly becoming digitally driven, we find Illumnus very well placed to capture the market not only in India but in other global markets as well. Edtech in the B2B space has seen a lot of investment in recent times from large players like Google and Microsoft as well. However, the solution offered by Illumnus is more end-to-end and provides seamless learning and pupil management capabilities to schools and parents alike.”

Illumnus’ collaborative platform makes learning fun and simple while making the management effortless. It enables students and teachers stay more connected than ever, and their communication so easy and fast.
