Skill-Lync, a Y-Combinator-backed educational technology company, is set to revolutionize the Indian engineering education landscape. Over the next six months, it will introduce 30 free courses, a unique initiative aimed at bridging the industry skill gap. These courses, a first of their kind, will provide over 30,000 Indian engineers with invaluable resources, enabling them to enhance their skills and knowledge at no cost.

These courses will address the lack of quality and application-based learning in the Indian undergraduate engineering education system. Skill-Lync’s platform currently boasts impressive course completion rates, with programmes in topics like Automotive Design, Electric Vehicle Design, FEA, and much more.

Speaking about the development, Suryanarayanan P, Co-founder and CEO of Skill Lync, said:

Our mission at Skill-Lync has always been to bridge the skill gap in the engineering industry by providing accessible, high-quality education. With the launch of these 30 free courses, we aim to empower over 30,000 students by equipping them with the practical skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers. This initiative will significantly impact the engineering community, helping foster innovation and drive growth in the industry.

This series of free courses is a comprehensive resource, covering a wide range of topics across various engineering disciplines. This diversity ensures that every student and professional, regardless of their field of interest, can find a course that suits their needs. Skill-Lync has already launched three beginner-friendly courses specifically designed for mechanical engineers, and is committed to expanding its offerings to include more diverse subjects in the coming months.

To further support its learners, the startup will offer certificates of completion for all courses. These certificates will serve as a testament to the skills acquired and can be a valuable addition to any engineer’s professional portfolio. All courses will be available on Skill-Lync’s YouTube channel for life.

Skill-Lync was founded in 2015 by Suryanarayanan PaneerSelvam and Sarangarajan V to prepare students industry-ready through advanced industry-relevant courses. It has already established itself as a trustworthy partner for organizations aiming to cultivate an upskilled talent pool. Its courses are selected by project-driven industry experts, providing students with deep engineering expertise and a robust assessment approach that ensures students meet learning objectives.
