Uplifters , a skill-based EdTech startup with a pay-after-placement model, has recently launched its exclusive Summer Internship Programme designed exclusively for college students. The programme operates on a pay-after-placement model, ensuring participants can secure jobs before making payments. During the internship, which spans six weeks prior to their final year examinations, Uplifters aims to offer industrial projects and training to students.

According to an official statement, the programme concentrates on several key industry domains: Backend Java Developer, Front End Developer, Data Science, and Digital Marketing. In addition, Uplifters intend to provide interview preparation assistance and soft skills training, equipping students with the necessary expertise to thrive in their chosen domains and seize job opportunities.

Speaking about the initiative, Founder & CEO of Uplifters, Umang Sangal, said:

In the digitally driven industry, internship is instrumental for getting access to good job opportunities. We have developed this Internship Program to ensure all students gear up for a strong career ahead. The six weeks of rigorous training and live classes will help them gain significant industry experience, eventually opening more avenues to attract better career opportunities.

Sangal added:

As per the industry norms, this will help students with the summer internship certificate and their major Projects at the college. Uplifters, Avance PR and other partnered companies will provide the certificate. We are excited to work in conjunction with students and institutions.

The programme will be offered in two distinct formats: online and hybrid. It encompasses various activities, such as soft skill classes, mock interviews, online technical classes, practical sessions, and on-campus industrial projects. The Hybrid programme will be conducted in partnership with select colleges, with participation limited to 10 campuses. As part of the programme, each campus will organise exclusive mock interview drives to familiarise students with industry interview standards. The statement further mentioned that esteemed industry experts and mentors will provide valuable feedback to assist students in enhancing their skills for final placement interviews.

Founded in 2023, Uplifters aims to uplift India’s untapped and undervalued talent and prepare them for some of the most demanding jobs. The platform strives to provide students with cutting-edge technical knowledge and skills to help them reach their full potential and unlock the best opportunities. The startup has mentors who are alumni of IIT, NIT, BITS, and other renowned colleges working in top MNCs. It is developing a learning ecosystem of various tech and non-tech courses for the students.
