But with a large number of ed-tech platforms that help parents manage their kids’ learning cycle with personalized learning in multiple languages, gamification, and entertaining video content to ease out the learning process, it is really difficult to find the right resources for the children.

To make the search easy, here is a list of 5 Ed-Tech Apps that will help kids and parents with better early childhood education and care in India.

1. Square Panda India

As an Edtech innovator, Square Panda India aims to work to create a holistic transformation towards the early education landscape. The app provides a joyful and engaging learning experience and can be accessed online or offline. By using the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, the app adapts to each child’s unique pace of learning in real-time. It eases learning at home as well and in school through its School-to-Home and In-School learning programs, thus ensuring continuous learning.

Along with being contextualized for India by being multilingual, it focuses on hybrid learning and takes a holistic view of a child’s development by honing his or her social, cognitive, and motor skills. Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, Square Panda aims to upskill 500k Anganwadi workers and Primary educators, and thereby grow the education ecosystem

2. Class monitor

Founded by young entrepreneurs Vijeet Pandey and Vikas Rishishwar in 2016, ClassMonitor is using Do-it-yourself (DIY) kits to provide holistic learning experiences for preschoolers and help parents keep their children away from the screens. The learning kit takes children to a learning space that combines real-life learning experiences with curated activities and a resourceful library.

This Indore-based EdTech focuses to help improve early education with a more efficient teacher, a more participating parent & a highly motivated student. The ClassMonitor Learning Kit helps the child develop their Linguistic Skills, Logical Thinking, Sensory & Motor Skills, Cognitive Skills, and Creativity.

3. Kutuki

Founded in 2017 by Sneha Sundaram, an educator, and writer, and Bharat Bevinahally, an ISB alumnus, musician, and audio producer, Kutuki Kids Learning App is a Bengaluru based award-winning early-learning app for children below the age group of seven. It has a team of educators, musicians, artists, storytellers, and tech professionals who are passionate about bringing art and technology together to create quality and engaging content for children. The start-up also offers simple games to build vocabulary, life skills, and learn letters and numbers.

The app uses proprietary stories and a songs-based curriculum to attract and transform India’s youngest learners. The mission of the startup is to transform how India’s 200 million youngest learners learn.

4. OckyPocky

One of India’s 1st interactive English learning apps for preschool kids, OckyPokcy is created by Whizkids.

Established in 2015, this Haryana-based EdTech Startup focuses on non-English speaking families and engages more than 2,00,000 children in a month with kids learning 8-10 million words in 30 days.

With the motto “Skills That Matter” the app aims to change the way 160+ million Indian kids learn English, by providing live classes for 4-12 year age groups. Their interactive platform gives instant feedback powered by voice, video, and vernacular and the best teachers in India. OckyPocky also curates creative courses for young learners.

5. Kiddopia

Established in 2012, Kiddopia is Mumbai based EdTech startup founded by Anupam and Anshu Dhanuka. The start-up works towards building world-class edutainment apps for preschool children providing integrated learning that is curriculum-linked along with a math program, language skills, general knowledge, creativity, role-playing, and social-emotional learning.

To make the learning fun, the team focuses on creating constructive and exciting content. The app includes inputs from parents, teachers, artists, and developers who joyfully build learning experiences for curious little minds.
