U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan joined me at the Rural Education Forum this week. We discussed his tenure as Secretary and ways to engage rural communities and schools. Over 50 million adults and over 12 million children live in rural areas around the country and their education needs are unique and of paramount importance to everyone.
