India Learning Expo 2014, the largest Conference & Exposition on the Learning Industry was organized at Epicentre, Gurgaon. The event provides a platform for school leaders, school administrators, teachers, educators and education products suppliers in India to discover the latest developments in educational resources and learning technology at a common platform every year. India Learning Expo also serves as an opportunity for everyone involved in the field of education to exchange new ideas and innovations in learning and education in today`s India.

The theme of this year’s conference was “Transforming Schools for the 21st Century” — Enabling Indian School & Learning Institutions to meet global standards using the best in class technologies, resources and supplies, driven by quality systems, creativity & innovation. A Keynote address was given by Prof. Marmar Mukhopadhyay,  Chairman ETMA.

Aiming at exploring the future of learning and educational trends, India Learning Expo 2014 covered various focus areas, including eLearning, School Infrastructure, Franchising & Distribution, Manpower – Training & Recruitment, Special Educational Needs, Early Learning, Global Education & Alliances. Over 50 school & learning industry leaders spoke at the 2 day Conference, including luminaries such as Prof. M.M. Pant , Pro Vice Chancellor, IGNOU, Renowned authority on ICT in Education, Mr. Ajay Batra, Head Advocacy & Systems Quality, Azim Premji Foundation, Ms. Maya Menon, Director, The Teacher Foundation, Mr. Steven Rudolph, Founder, JIVA, Mr. Amol Arora, Vice Chairman, Shemrock & Shemford Schools, Ms. Swati Popat, President, Podar Schools, Mr. Raj Grover, Chief Mentor, Kangaroo Kids, Mr. Amit Kaushik, Director, Ab Initio Consulting, Mr. Vijay Shukla, Managing Partner, Eduvisors, Ms. Padmaja Ruparel, President, India Angels Network and many more.

The Expo saw visits from various schools & learning institutions and over 500 delegates participated with brands such as Vodafone, Intel, Next, British Council participating.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manoj Chandra, Convener, said The India Learning Expo brings together school leaders, administrators, teachers, educators, education entrepreneurs, institutional leaders, investors and suppliers and all those who are involved with the Learning industry to interact and discuss on the best practices, define industry standards and promote innovation that will help grow the industry.  We plan to take the Expo to other markets such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai & Mumbai during the course of this year.”
