Currently at Westwood Schools, in Camilla, Georgia, Vicki is transforming the way people think about teaching. Her co-created Flat Classroom project won ISTE’s award for Best Online Learning Project for 2007 and was included in version 3 of Thomas Friedman’s book The World is Flat and Don Tapscott’s book Grown Up Digital. She has also co-founded three other award winning projects including the Horizon Project, the Digiteen project (digital citizenship,) and the NetGen Education Challenge with Don Tapscott. More than 1000 students in 20 countries have participated in these projects.
