In an exciting initiative to promote education, Uttarakhand has launched the e-Srijan Bot on SwiftChat, a digital platform committed to assisting the professional development of over 50,000 teachers nationwide. Honourable Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat introduced the e-Srijan bot, which delivers accessible, mobile-based training to help teachers grow in their role and better support student learning.

The e-Srijan bot is designed to reach educators in every corner of Uttarakhand, including those who previously had limited access to professional training. Through this bot, teachers can engage in courses on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and 21st-century teaching skills, take assessments, receive feedback, and earn SCERT certifications, all from the convenience of their mobile devices. This marks a significant step towards preparing teachers to connect with students in a technology-driven world.

Jharna Kamthan, Director General of School Education, Uttarakhand, shared thoughts on the initiative:

The vision behind the Teachers’ Professional Development Bot’ e-Srijan’ is to empower educators with the latest educational technologies and teaching tools. We aim to make our teachers globally competitive, equipping them to contribute effectively to the holistic development of students.

The e-Srijan bot fits seamlessly into teachers’ busy schedules, allowing them to advance their skills without disrupting their daily routines. For many teachers, this is the first time they’ve had access to such a flexible, supportive tool, enabling continuous learning and growth.

Bandana Garbyal, Director of Academic Research and Training, Uttarakhand, commented:

e-Srijan is a valuable initiative to strengthen teachers’ skills through accessible, high-quality online courses. Our vision is to foster a culture of continuous learning, enabling educators to adapt to modern educational challenges and enhance student outcomes.

Launching the e-Srijan bot on SwiftChat brings new hope to teachers across Uttarakhand, equipping them with tools and skills to make a lasting, positive impact in their classrooms. This project demonstrates a commitment to empowering educators, resulting in a brighter future in which every student benefits from talented, confident teachers equipped to meet today’s learners’ requirements.
