HEX, the future of work education company, has announced the acquisition of EntryLevel, a Sydney-based educational technology firm, to expand its skills training offerings. This acquisition will combine HEX’s expertise in producing delightful innovation, entrepreneurship, and employability-focused education with an entry-level approach to reskilling and meaningful job development. The platform aspires to provide exceptional learning experiences to change people’s lives and close the worldwide employability gap.

However, the terms of the deal were not disclosed.

EntryLevel, founded in 2020, has developed an AI-powered, cohort-based learning management system offering online courses in data analytics, cybersecurity, UX design, Python and growth marketing. More than 30,000 students have completed programmes delivered by Atlassian, Canva, Amazon, Microsoft, Linktree and Wise mentors. Since its inception, the startup has attracted over 235,000 signups, with people globally choosing to reskill and find meaningful work through their AI-powered platform.

Speaking on the acquisition, Jeanette Cheah, CEO and Co-Founder of HEX, said:

HEX is known for its enjoyable online courses and life-changing global study programs, and now, with EntryLevel’s AI-driven platform and aligned team, we can deliver impactful education on a much larger scale. Together, we can prepare the workforce for an exponentially changing world – by deploying HEX’s Exponential Intelligence™ capabilities framework and keeping learners’ career dreams at the centre of everything we do.

This partnership will empower individuals across the entire learning journey—from high school students discovering their impact potential to seasoned professionals seeking to upskill and advance their careers.

With a broader range of delivery formats, including online, blended, and on-demand options, learners can now access high-quality futuristic skills whenever and wherever suits them best. This flexibility accommodates busy schedules and empowers individuals to learn at their own pace, fostering a more personalised and engaging learning experience.

HEX will now include a broader range of digital programmes, incorporating EntryLevel’s impactful tech courses, which are perfect for anyone looking to level up their next move. These courses include Data Analysis, Product Management, UX Design, Venture Capital, Python and more. It will continue delivering the latest innovations in education and technology, ensuring its content remains relevant, impactful, and aligned with real-world demands. By equipping learners with the skills to navigate emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and fostering innovation and global leadership abilities, it strives to make the future of work more accessible. ‍With a flexible digital learning model, the company can scale its impact globally, empowering learners and delivering to partners in Vietnam, China, India, New Zealand, Nigeria, and beyond.

Ajay Prakash, CEO and Co-Founder of EntryLevel added:

At EntryLevel, we’ve thought about how education scales from day one. It’s not enough to have outstanding content. We’ve also been focused on building affordable courses that people finish. Joining forces with HEX was a natural fit to blend two complementary models.

HEX exists to start spectacular careers and unleash hidden potential. It creates a generation of leaders who will take action to shape the world they want to live in. Today, HEX is a lean, diversified workforce based in Australia that works worldwide and 24/7. It has over 40 programmes in San Francisco, Singapore, Tel Aviv, and Melbourne. In 2020, the company introduced award-winning virtual internships, challenges, and cohort-based programmes. It expanded its partnerships abroad and began working with exceptional high school students. Prestigious universities in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia support it.

This deal signifies the continuity of HEX and EntryLevel’s commitment to investing in the future leaders across the world. By empowering individuals with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to lead effectively in a complex and rapidly changing world, HEX and EntryLevel are not only shaping the future of their organisations but also contributing to a more positive and sustainable future for all.
