Intrado Corporation (‘Intrado’), a global leader in technology-enabled services, announced that it has acquired Permission Click, a pioneer in education technology.
With this acquisition, Intrado Life & Safety expands its leadership position in K-12 education technology, adding Permission Click’s digital workflow solutions to its SchoolMessenger communications suite of solutions.
Permission Click, launched in 2013, with an aim to bypass the backpack by creating digital permission slips that parents could easily access. The platform offers innovative digital solutions to administrative problems, for regional managers, principals, teachers and parents. Permission Click has evolved in consultation with educators and user feedback to become a leader in the education-technology industry.
Permission Click also provides a platform for schools and day care centers for online payment and authorization of events. The event coordinators can create events on a customized school template and send it to the higher management for authorizations where the authorities can accept or reject the event with comments, and once an event is accepted the school can send the event details to parents where the parents can either accept or reject the participation of the kids for the event and pay for the event online through the portal.
