The company plans to use the fresh funds for market expansion, brand building, and product development across key cities in India.

Founded in 2018, 90+ My Tuition App provides digital tuition to 5th-12th standard students of state education boards. It offers video and animation-based tuitions in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, currently to Kerala State Board students. Using the platform, learners get to learn concepts of Math and Science using animated video content and can access their learning through self-verifiable evaluation tests available on the app. Students can download videos and play the lessons later without the use of the internet. The app also allows parents to track their child’s progress using the ‘Parents Corner’ feature available on the app.

90+ My Tuition App aims to help nationwide students attain exceptional grades. It claims that its curriculum helps students to earn a ’90+’ score.

Speaking about the platform, Vingish Vijay, Founder & Vice President, 90+ My Tuition App, said, “Our aim is to digitize tutoring, for that we are providing focused textbook-oriented animated video content. Students generally are afraid of scoring in Math and Science but we want to change this perception by making these subjects easy to learn using animated content that imprints on the young minds.”

The platform currently offers 3,200 hours of video-based learning content, including tutorial videos, practice questions, mock online tests, and doubt-solving.

The Bengaluru-based startup claims that it has acquired 4.5 lakh users from Grades 5 to 12 in the last 16 months and its course completion rate stands at 86 percent.

90+ My Tuition App has recently launched its second product, 90+ Top Rank, in the test prep segment.

The startup currently caters to Kerala State Board students only, and it plans to add other state boards’ curriculum in the coming months. 90+ My Tuition App also expects more than a million downloads of its app in the current year and aims to achieve 5% market share within three years.
