The association is based on a shared goal of helping institutions develop connected teaching and learning ecosystems that foster meaningful educational experiences and can provide students with the transferrable skills they need to thrive. FeedbackFruits has co-developed a tool suite of 15 solutions with over 100 partners that connect with D2L Brightspace through LTI 1.3 and API integrations, bringing a seamless pedagogical layer to the Learning Management System (LMS).

As part of the partnership, D2L customers will have three FeedbackFruits solutions for Brightspace: Peer Feedback, Social Annotation, and Team-Based Learning and polling, or they can implement the entire FeedbackFruits tool suite for a complete transformation.

Commenting on the collaboration, VP of Product Partnerships, D2L, Katie Bradford, said:

We are excited to expand our partnership with FeedbackFruits. At D2L, we believe in the power of collaboration to support the delivery of solutions that can help transform the way the world learns.

FeedbackFruits believes learning doesn’t and shouldn’t end with graduation. Educators are the ones who foremost equip students with lifelong skills so they can always continue growing. Achieving this is indeed challenging; therefore, it requires a tremendous amount of support and assistance. The company aims to help every institution that wants to transform for the future. It is used by more than 100 leading higher education institutions in Europe, North America, APAC, LATAM, and Africa, and its use rapidly expands.

Ewoud de Kok, CEO and founder of FeedbackFruits, emphasized the importance of educational technology companies working together, saying:

To meet the needs of educators and learners, the edtech landscape needs to be led by collaboration. I’m very proud that the partnership with D2L allows us to make teaching and learning more accessible and impactful for higher education institutions.

D2L is transforming how the world learns, helping learners of all ages achieve more than they dreamed possible. The platform supports millions of people learning online and in person by working closely with clients worldwide. The firm collaborates with leaders, policymakers, and industry innovators worldwide to advance learning. Its team partners with each customer to meet their learners’ needs, improve outcomes, and provide support at every step of their journey.
