In a significant move towards facilitating students with the latest educational technologies and helping them upgrade their skills, the Techno India group has collaborated with Google Cloud to introduce ‘Digital Campus on Google Cloud’, an initiative to transform the education process. This collaboration, led by Chief Innovation Officer and Executive Director Meghdut Roychowdhury, aims to transform education by complying with international standards and the needs of the modern digital economy.

Through this empowering partnership, the students and faculty at Techno India University will gain access to advanced cloud computing services, big data analytics and machine learning capabilities. This not only ensures better learning and career opportunities for the students but also recognizes their role as active contributors to the evolving tech landscape. These programmes are designed to equip students with both technical skills and managerial acumen, marking them not just participants in their education but integral to the educational process.

Speaking on the partnership, Meghdoot Roychowdhury, Chief Innovation Officer & Executive Director, Techno India Group, said:

Through this partnership, 15,000 students from Techno India Group will be able to access all the apps that Google has on Google Cloud. It will help them upskill themselves and enrich their career growth opportunities. Under this pilot project, students will get access to 200-hour courses on Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). These skills are essential for students to keep up with the technological advancement the world is currently going through. We are looking forward to the launch of these courses.

This alliance not only enhances educational access and quality but also significantly improves the security protocols and infrastructure at Techno India. By migrating operations to Google Cloud, the institution sets a new standard for educational institutions worldwide, emphasizing the importance of secure and efficient technological frameworks. This reassures the audience about the robust security measures in place, instilling confidence in the collaboration.

Subram Natrajan, Director of Customer Engineering at Google Cloud, added:

Google Cloud is delighted to collaborate with Techno India University under the Digital programme like generative AI, making them industry-ready. This collaboration would be instrumental in bringing fresh cloud-ready talent into the market and creating more opportunities for students to pursue their careers in the AI era.

According to Meghdoot Roychowdhury, Techno India University will soon launch BTech programmes powered by Google. The details of all the courses will be announced soon.

Techno India has been inspiring students throughout the country since its inception, which supports its reputation as a global leader in education. 30 years of academic experience, an eminent faculty base, world-class infrastructure, and exceptional research facilities have set the company apart from the rest of the educational institutes. Its undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral candidates have shown remarkable performance in their respective fields on account of the high-quality education imparted by our distinguished professors.
