IKidz, a premium play school chain that ensures the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children aged 2 to 5, has announced a significant expansion of its business activities across multiple cities and states in India. Through this expansion initiative, the preschool aims to launch more than 200 centres across more than 90 cities by the end of fiscal year 2024, according to an official release.
According to IKidz, it accommodates an average of 40 students per centre, resulting in a 170% return on investment. Building on the success of existing centres, the platform is expanding its presence in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.
As per the official statement, the upcoming IKidz centres are believed to utilise their software, ‘IKidz Smart,’ an AI-based tool designed to assist parents during admissions. This app will also be an assessment tool, helping parents and teachers track a child’s academic development and observing progress before and after enrollment at IKidz.
