Chase Eastman, the founder of Rootwurks, spent over 15 years working in food manufacturing safety, compliance, and workforce training, where he witnessed firsthand the challenges these expectations can pose for industry experts. When Chase’s mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in the early 2000s, she tried various medications and procedures to find comfort. This experience inspired Chase to develop a platform to help the cannabis industry negotiate compliance and safety challenges, using all the know-how he gained in the highly demanding world of food manufacturing compliance.
