Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Skillhabit was founded in 2020 by the serial entrepreneur Hellen Wohlin Lidgard and the technology visionary and leader in tech David Rejdemyhr. Both are devoted to changing the learning experience to make it more fun and rewarding for the users. Their expertise and vision have led to developing a platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze, design and deliver learning experiences based on the learners’ needs and preferences and the organizations’ objectives. It also features a built-in e-commerce functionality that allows organizations to sell their learning experiences to external audiences.

This deal is part of TicTac Group’s strategic journey to maintain its leadership position in the European market by providing the most significant technology and comprehensive learning solutions and services.

Speaking on the acquisition, Carolina Faxe, CEO of TicTac Group, said:

We are very excited to welcome Skillhabit to the TicTac family. Skillhabit has developed a remarkable platform that leverages artificial intelligence to simplify and accelerate the creation and delivery of learning experiences. This perfectly fits our vision to provide our customers with the best learning solutions and services and help them achieve their learning and business goals.

Skillhabit has already made a mark internationally, with customers across Northern Europe, including German clients. The organization has proven to be effective and efficient in creating and delivering engaging learning experiences for various purposes, such as employee training and customer & partner education. This international success is a testament to the quality and effectiveness of Skillhabit’s platform.

Hellen Wohlin Lidgard, Founder of Skillhabit, stated:

We are excited that the Skillhabit platform will now be introduced to TicTac’s blue-chip customer base across Northern Europe. We see a perfect match with TicTac’s strong presence in the market and Skillhabit’s innovative technology and focus on end-user experience.

With this acquisition, Skillhabit’s existing customers will also benefit significantly. They will have access to the wider range of learning solutions and services offered by TicTac Group, as well as its vast network of learning experts, consultants, and partners. This expansion of services is a testament to TicTac Group’s commitment to providing the best learning experiences for all customers.

TicTac Group, headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, and has offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki and Berlin, aims to create cutting-edge knowledge solutions that make businesses, organizations, and people grow. As part of its vision for a better tomorrow, the platform supports causes that match its values and have growth potential. The company serves over 4,000 customers across Europe, including some of the largest and most prestigious organizations in various sectors, such as finance, healthcare, education and public administration.
