Toprankers, an EdTech startup for careers beyond engineering and medical, has announced its acquisition of The Lex Guru, an Indore-based legal test prep platform, marking the transition to Judiciary Gold’s new centre in the city.
However, the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
With this deal, Toprankers fortifies its commitment to the legal test prep sector alongside its existing platform LegalEdge. The acquisition will enable Toprankers to expand its presence in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and other neighbouring regions.
The Lex Guru works towards achieving excellence in the field of Judicial Studies under the tutelage of renowned Judges and Academicians. It provides comprehensive teaching of Judicial Services Examinations to students.
Toprankers is organising a grand event, “Judiciary Samwaad”, on 7th July at 304, Vibrant Tower, Geeta Bhawan, AB Road, to celebrate this substantial milestone. The event will be divided into two slots: the afternoon session commencing from 3 PM to 4:30 PM and the evening session from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
The participants will also receive exclusive hard copies of printed mock tests tailored specifically for offline batches. These mock tests include thorough explanations to enhance the learning experience. Judiciary Gold will also furnish the exclusive GrandMaster’s Box to participants. The box features a curated collection of over 1500 essential questions and three extensive booklists, incorporating 1000+ one-liners from civil and criminal law. Students will also be able to partake in the exhilarating Judiciary Quiz and contest for exciting cash prizes of INR 10,000/-, along with a chance to win incredible goodies.

The startup also helps students with career discovery, job preparation and overseas studies.

With a community of over 500,000 students, Toprankers has trained 25,000 learners through its online and offline courses. With The Lex Guru, the company has made its second acquisition this year. In April, it acquired the career guidance platform ProBano. The firm raised $4 million in a Series A funding round led by Sixth Sense Ventures last year in June.
