Udacity, an online learning platform, has announced the launch of the generative AI Nanodegree Programme, allowing professionals to keep up with the rapidly expanding subject. The California-based company claims that the curriculum aims to provide professionals with the necessary skills to traverse the dynamic and quickly evolving field of generative AI, anticipating its significant impact on various industries.

The Generative AI Nanodegree programme will address the increasing demand for skills in an era where generative AI is poised to reshape industries and functional areas. It focuses on providing professionals with practical skills to harness generative AI’s potential effectively. The programme is instantly available to All Access subscribers, providing the opportunity to access Udacity’s extensive content library, which includes over 80 Nanodegree programmes, 350 courses, 370 real-world projects, and over 2,500 skills.

The Generative AI Nanodegree programme requires intermediate Python and SQL programming skills, pitching it as a technical and hands-on complement to the Generative AI for Business Leaders course, which started last month. Udacity also announced the Generative AI Fluency course for individuals seeking a conceptual understanding.

The curriculum is taught by professors from organizations including Advocate, Cape Analytics, DeepMind, LanceDB, Meta, NVIDIA, and Rocketship.VC, SoFi, UC Berkeley, and Ed Wiley at Udacity provide a comprehensive understanding of generative AI. Students can work on capstone projects that reflect real-life challenges utilizing GenAI in professional contexts. Importantly, students receive detailed feedback on their projects from experienced mentors.
