Virohan, India’s leading healthcare EdTech platform, has joined forces with Mahajan Imaging & Labs, a pioneer in diagnostics, medical imaging, and genomics, to offer placement opportunities for students. The alliance aims to address the gap between education and the healthcare industry by providing students with hands-on experience with cutting-edge, AI-powered medical imaging and diagnostic technology.

Through this partnership, Virohan students will turn their classroom learning into hands-on experience in real healthcare environments. Working in state-of-the-art facilities, they will build the clinical and technical skills needed to meet India’s growing demand for skilled Allied Health Professionals.

Emphasizing the significance of the collaboration, Nalin Saluja, Co-founder and CTO of Virohan, said:

We’re excited to partner with Mahajan Imaging & Labs. Their extensive network will expose our students to advanced diagnostic technologies. The healthcare industry in India is changing fast, and the demand for skilled professionals who can work with cutting-edge tools is higher than ever. This partnership is not just about learning—it gives our students the confidence and practical knowledge to step into the real world and make a difference.

Mahajan Imaging & Labs has a dynamic background that brings new and advanced technology into the country. It engages in advanced clinical and applied research and has established benchmarks in this sector. With over 35 years of experience in healthcare innovation, the company runs 11 centres and three labs in North India, including standalone facilities in Delhi NCR and Jaipur, as well as collaborations with top hospitals like Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Fortis Hospitals, Safdarjung Hospital, and PSRI Hospital. It also works on advanced clinical and applied research with university partners such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA, the Max Planck Institute, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi, and leading global pharmaceutical and device manufacturers.

Kabir Mahajan, COO of Mahajan Imaging & Labs, stated:

Our collaboration with Virohan represents a significant step toward strengthening India’s healthcare workforce. By providing students with hands-on training, we are supporting their professional growth and contributing to improved patient care nationwide. This partnership aligns with our plans to expand our integrated diagnostic centre network across North India. We take pride in our latest technology, machinery, and highly trained employees and doctors to help patients in any situation, especially complex cases. We are delighted to extend this learning to students from Virohan.

The cooperation is another step toward Virohan’s aim of providing the future generation of Allied Health Professionals with the information and experience they need to flourish in their careers and alleviate India’s healthcare skills gap.

Virohan, established in 2018 by Archit Jayasal, Kunaal Dudeja, Nalin Saluja, and Parul Dudeja, provides students with healthcare vocational training to help them further their careers in the healthcare field. The platform is driven by a desire to develop a generation of learners capable of turning their abilities into careers. It offers a comprehensive education that educates students with technical and soft skills necessary in the industry. To do this, the organization created a one-of-a-kind student journey suited to each learner’s specific needs. With over 2,000 employer partners, the company continues to build valuable industry relationships for its students. This marks another significant milestone in its journey to address India’s allied healthcare workforce gap, create employment opportunities, and contribute to improved patient care.
