The MoU was formalized in Dehradun on October 17, 2024, signed by Prof. Rajeev Srivastava, Dean of the School of Management at IMS Unison University, and Anant Bengani, Co-founder of Zell Education. This initiative underscores both institutions’ commitment to equipping students with industry-relevant skills to enhance their employability in the global finance sector.

Zell Education, started in 2015 by enterprising professionals Pratham Barot and Anant Bengani, aims to bridge the gap between academic achievement and practical skill development. As a cutting-edge learning platform, it provides complete training for ambitious finance and accounting students. It is a renowned institute dedicated to providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in finance and accounting in today’s competitive world.

Sharing about the partnership, Anant Bengani, Co-founder of Zell Education, said:

Our collaboration with IMS Unison University is more than an academic enhancement. It is an extension of our commitment to preparing India’s future finance leaders with skills that transcend borders. By embedding ACCA certification within the BBA and B.Com programs, we are setting a new standard for career-ready education, empowering students to enter the workforce not just with a degree but with a globally respected qualification that sets them apart.

The ACCA Qualification is the industry’s top accounting certification for future financial professionals. It equips students with relevant abilities, know-how, and principles to succeed in the workplace. With Zell Education’s award-winning LMS system explicitly designed for Finance and Accounting courses, the collaboration comes at the right time for IMS Unison University students to equip themselves with industry-ready certifications and university degrees.

Prof. Anil SubbaRao Paila, Vice Chancellor, IMS Unison University, stated:

We are delighted to partner with Zell Education to enhance our academic offerings at IMS Unison University. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in our commitment to providing world-class education to our students. By integrating ACCA certification into our BBA and B.com programs, we are equipping students with globally recognized professional qualifications alongside their degrees. This strategic partnership will create more versatile career opportunities for our students and strengthen their competitive edge in the global job market. The signing of this MoU represents our dedication to academic excellence and professional development.

This partnership between IMS Unison University and Zell Education aligns with its mission to make professional accounting education accessible within mainstream undergraduate programmes, thus empowering students to secure a strong foothold in the competitive job market.

Established in 1996 as the Institute of Management Studies, IMS Unison University is a constituent of the Unison Education Foundation. After making significant contributions to higher education, the Government of Uttarakhand recognized its efforts by approving the establishment of the University in 2013.
