ShowReel is a key to unlocking the path to success by developing critical thinking abilities necessary for the entrepreneurial journey. The AI-powered software is designed to foster entrepreneurial savvy in the younger generation by providing valuable resources through concise and insightful videos. Furthermore, the platform develops an inclusive platform that caters to the aspirations of urban and rural youth eager to embark on the entrepreneurial path.

The impressive inaugural event held at Dr. M.A. Ansari Auditorium of JMI was attended by Prof. Najma Akhtar (Padma Shri), JMI Vice Chancellor, Mr. Sabeer Bhatia, Founder, ShowReel, Prof. Equbal Husain, Pro Vice Chancellor, JMI, Mr. Javed Yunus, Co-Founder, ShowReel, Prof. Nazim Husain Jafri, Registrar, JMI, Deans, HoDs, faculty and students of the University. Both sides signed the Agreement during the function.

Speaking on the partnership, Co-founder of ShowReel, Sabeer Bhatia, said:

ShowReel-Jamia App is not just a collaboration but a visionary leap into the future of education. We believe in empowering our youth with the right skills and tools for a brighter future. True creativity emerges from independent research, investigation, hands-on experiences, and the pursuit of answers. By leveling the playing field and granting equal education opportunities, we are focused on embracing the transformative power of AI to change the way young minds think, making them adaptable to the continuously evolving world of technology. JMI has always been at the forefront of transformative education, and we are happy to be associated with one of India’s top universities to launch this revolutionary platform.

The Jamia-ShowReel platform aims to establish a dynamic environment for open-ended exploration, experimentation, and discovery, allowing students to apply their knowledge. This partnership marks JMI’s first collaboration with a non-educational entity. AI-enabled a course design for the first time, and the Jamia-ShowReel platform will be the first to award six credits for completing a course using an app. Another first-of-its-kind feature is the use of artificial intelligence to evaluate students’ verbal responses, which are analyzed by algorithms for critical thinking.

Prof. Najma Akhtar (Padma Shri), Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, added:

Sabeer Bhatia has led India’s tech revolution, and we are proud to partner with ShowReel and work with him to create a revolution in the education industry. By harnessing the power of AI, the Jamia-ShowReel platform will catalyze sparking students’s imaginations and cultivating curiosity. With this innovative platform, ShowReel and JMI are pioneering the future of education. The aim is not just to impart information but to unlock students’ creativity, communication skills, and real-world application.

This cooperation aims to change education from the traditional one-way, instructor-led model to a self-directed, inquiry-based approach. ShowReel’s vision is to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs – individuals who can leverage technology to envision new companies and industries. The platform leaves behind obsolete education methods to cultivate creative thinkers and problem-solvers equipped for the jobs of tomorrow. The company hopes to democratize access to education for all Indians through this collaboration, which is developed at the nexus of innovation, AI, and upskilling.

ShowReel, an innovative approach to entrepreneurship, is dedicated to mentoring and assisting Indian youngsters and entrepreneurs in developing the necessary tools and attitudes to begin and sustain successful business ventures. The Jamia- ShowReel app will have 14 courses on significant entrepreneurship fundamentals, allowing students to express themselves and describe complex subjects uniquely. This methodology will help exercise and articulate original ideas based on research and life experiences, preparing the students for their entrepreneurial journeys.
