The Early Childhood Association (ECA) is the one-stop shop for anything childhood-related, including enrichment, networking, awareness, and advocacy. It aims to assist professionals, teachers, and people who work with children in balwadis, daycare centres, rural crèches, teacher training colleges, and the entrepreneurial network (basically anyone who contributes directly or indirectly to the care of a child) by providing them with a variety of resources. This could include knowledge, the latest research, training and ideas, potential solutions and counselling.

The recent National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage 2022 emphasizes play-based learning resources for children aged three to eight, an area on which Swati has worked significantly throughout her career. Her philosophy of ”Kiducation” binds education and enjoyment. Burlington English, with its 40-year-old legacy of language education for everyone, is committed to making education more manageable and enjoyable for students.

Speaking on the partnership, Amit Baveja, Managing Director, Burlington English India & South Asia, said:

Burlington English’s vision has always been to keep up with the latest developments in the field of education and not only make it accessible to all but also enjoyable to learners of all ages. The collaboration with Dr Swati is a significant move. Bringing together like-minded experts with a deep passion for education will enable young learners to enjoy top-notch, high-quality products and services.

Early childhood education demands sensitivity, understanding, and impact-based research, which Burlington English strives to embody in its learning modules and products. The collaborative effort of two early education pioneers promises an innovative and impactful encounter, which is greatly anticipated.

Swati Popat Vats, President of ECA-APER, stated:

As President of the Early Childhood Association, I am honoured and proud to be the advisor for Burlington English for their Foundational Years Programme books. Burlington English is known for its quality and excellence in materials for students and teachers, and now they are creating quality teaching-learning tools for foundational years. Foundational years are the brain development years and require inquiry-based, play-based learning materials for literacy, numeracy, cognitive skills, or socio-emotional development. The Burlington English Early Years Educational Kits will be in sync with the NCF 2022, thus supporting schools in ensuring that young children get the best start in holistic education. Proud of this association.

Burlington English India is part of the Burlington English group, providing digital and print-based language learning solutions to millions of students worldwide. The platform offers state-of-the-art digital learning solutions for individuals, schools, colleges, universities, and business organizations. Its innovative blended learning approach provides the perfect combination of live, online classes and anytime, anywhere self-paced learning to maximize student interaction and reduce the time it takes to achieve fluency.
