Today’s classrooms have become more dynamic than ever before. The teaching and learning processes reciprocate between students and educators.

From the beginning of the 21st century, the demand for teachers has significantly received the attention and the number of educators has also increased. There are 200,000 teachers who graduate from college annually. The estimated number of primary and secondary school teachers in 2011 is 3,700,000 (Up 7% since 2001).

The crisis in education:
19: number of states that cut education funding by more than 5 percent between 2010–11 and 2011–12.
4: number of states, Illinois, Kansas, Texas and Wisconsin, that cut education spending by 10 percent or more.
80: percentage of school administrators who describe their budget as inadequately funded.
Solutions to overcome the crisis:

During tight economic situations, administrators and educators can still improve student achievements by implementing blended learning strategies.
Blended learning is a formal education program in which a student learns at least in part through online delivery of content and instruction with some element of student control over time, place, path, and/or pace. The methodology behind blended learning is to combine classroom learning with mobile learning and online learning. It also has different names like mixed learning, hybrid learning, blended e-learning, melted learning, etc. There are many forms of blended learning.
