Comeet, a global leader in collaborative recruitment software, has announced its upcoming merger with Spark Hire, a top-rated video interview platform. The merger combines complementary technologies to present users with the most comprehensive suite of products in the talent acquisition space. The transaction was facilitated by Boathouse Capital, a private equity firm and current investors in Spark Hire.

According to the companies, the merger allows Comeet and Spark Hire to leverage each other’s strengths and create a more seamless client experience. Comeet’s ATS is easy to use and flexible. Spark Hire’s video interviewing platform is scalable and secure, providing an opportunity to strengthen through the merger and offering clients a complete talent acquisition solution.

Both companies share similar markets and operate complementary recruitment technologies, with a combined customer base of over 7,000 companies. After the merger, both products and brands will continue operations allowing customers to benefit from continued investment in new products and functionality for both platforms.

Speaking about the development, Chief Executive Officer of Spark Hire, Josh Tolan, said:

Comeet’s strong international presence, highly-rated applicant tracking system, and solid customer and revenue retention profile make this an ideal partnership for Spark Hire.

Co-founded by Omer Tadjer, Tommy Dikerman and Omer Gottlieb in 2013, Comeet is an award-winning applicant tracking and candidate management platform (ATS) used by forward-thinking, mid-market and enterprise customers (KPMG, Fiverr, Monday.com, and more) around the world. The comprehensive ATS offers strong collaboration, communication, automation, and reporting for recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates, as well as customizability, elastic recruiting, and smart search features. The company makes hiring more efficient, effective, and enjoyable for everyone involved in talent acquisition.

Co-founder & CEO of Comeet, Omer Tadjer, added:

Our mission at Comeet has always been to create the best and most comprehensive platform for talent acquisition leaders and everyone involved in recruiting. The merger of Spark Hire and Comeet will help us continue to see that vision through.

Founded in 2012, Spark Hire aims to help organizations improve their recruiting efficiency and effectiveness by delivering an innovative and modern SaaS platform. The platform empowers thousands of satisfied customers globally to improve their hiring speed. A one-stop shop for fast and effective candidate screening tools, it facilitates key stakeholder collaboration to improve hiring outcomes. The firm helps organizations streamline early interviews by mitigating scheduling conflicts so hiring teams can screen more candidates with greater accuracy and send offers to top candidates at least twice as fast.

This merger marks a pivotal point in the talent acquisition space. With the combined experience, complementary technologies, and an exciting shared vision for transforming the talent acquisition industry, Comeet and Spark Hire are poised to drive the talent acquisition industry forward at an unprecedented pace.

While the terms of the transaction are undisclosed, Comeet investors (Flashpoint VC, Cresson, Upwest VC and others), Comeet leadership, and key employees will benefit from this transaction.

In April, Comeet launched an AI assistant that aims to let organizations make more effective hiring decisions, improve candidate experience and promote diversity and inclusion.
