The alliance marks another strategic partnership for Coventry University on the global stage, particularly as it prepares to inaugurate its newest Global Hub in New Delhi, India, early next year. As per the release, The University claims to boast a network of Global Hubs in Africa, Dubai, China, Brussels, and Singapore that foster collaborations with universities, governments, and businesses worldwide.

GITAM strives to emulate his ideals by providing equitable learning opportunities and an intellectually stimulating environment to learn and grow. The Institute’s vision is to establish a transformative, world-class educational and research environment that will equip and empower individuals and groups to develop innovative solutions for bettering people’s lives in their communities.

KNS Acharya, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GITAM, shared his thoughts on the collaboration:

Coventry University will be a strategic collaborator of the choice university as there are significant areas of mutual Interest. There are five research themes where we see complementary solid areas of Interest. The teams of researchers on both sides have put in significant effort over the last three months to identify common research areas to focus on.

GITAM aims to broaden its research portfolio through the MoU, highlighting its dedication to expanding the research footprint via joint initiatives such as collaborative research projects, co-authored publications and reciprocal student and faculty exchanges. Both institutions can apply for grants in their mutually defined focus areas jointly.

Coventry University is a forward-thinking, modern university with a long history of providing high-quality education and a strong emphasis on applied research. Students at the University have access to cutting-edge equipment and facilities in all academic disciplines, including health, design, and engineering laboratories, performing arts studios, and computing centres. Students can access project and placement opportunities that enhance their employability after graduation through the university’s connections with cutting-edge businesses and organisations in the public and voluntary sectors.
