Elementary children usually don’t show interest in reading. Educators feel difficulty in engaging them with stories or poems in order to improve their literacy skills. That’s why, Tales2Go has come into the field of education to excite kids to read.

It comes up with an audiobook platform to improve kids’ critical listening, comprehension and fluency skills as it has recognized the fact that children love listening to books and stories, more than they do reading them. Let’s learn about it.

Quick Guide:

Tales2Go is a mobile audiobook service which gives kids instant access to thousands of great kids’ stories from leading audio publishers and award winning storytellers. When you first start the application, it’ll display a welcome message that reminds you of how many days you’ve still got left for the free trail and details about subscribing for it further.

Tales2Go app provides users with various navigation options to select a story. Users can choose stories with the help of various sorting lists namely “highest rated”, “most popular”, “age”, “story type”, “storytellers”, “books and classics”, “series and characters”, etc. and can swipe the screen to expand more lists. Click on the type of category you want and it displays numerous sub categories to explore a particular story. Once you click the sub category, Tales2Go server generates a random list of stories which are relevant to your inquiry criteria. Hit the title of the story, then it right away begins to play and the story description will appear on the screen.

Users can rate a story to help others know about its quality, bookmark it to revise or revisit it again and add it to their favorites list.

Tales2Go also provides you with a search engine to discover stories by using specific key words which may come from the title, description, author or narrator of the story. It is designed to be simple and intuitive, yet allows you to access a story in multiple ways.

All the stories come from trusted audio publishers and award winning storytellers.
