Intellipaat, a leading EdTech company with over one crore learners across 155+ countries, has recently launched its new Professional Certification Programme in Software Development Engineering (PCP—SDE). The programme aims to deliver high-quality education that will help undergraduate students upskill on new-age digital skills and eventually land software development jobs at top product MNCs and startups.
Over 15 lakh engineering graduates pass out every year, and just 3-4% can secure software development jobs; additionally, many engineering graduates remain unemployed or end up working in sales, BPOs, and KPOs, among other non-technical job sectors. Many employment-related issues are encountered by tier 2, 3, and 4 cities and institutions that lack high-quality instruction on new-age skills required by the corporate world. At the same time, language becomes a barrier to acquiring these new technologies. Several students are uncomfortable with English and need help understanding it.
Intellipaat PCP—SDE programme is designed to fill this gap and help students learn in the language they are comfortable with, such as Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, or English. Upon completion, participants can achieve competitive salary packages, potentially up to 12 Lakhs per annum. Also, students will be provided unlimited job opportunities until they secure a CTC of 12 LPA.
The programme provides an educational experience similar to what anyone would have received from top colleges like IITs/NITs. It will be an 18-month programme, followed by a six-month internship. The course will be taught by top Industry experts and faculty from IITs. It is divided into three phases:
- The Foundation Module focuses on software development basics.
- Advanced training in Algorithms and Data Structures.
- A Specialization phase where students can specialize in Data Science & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Full Stack Development, or Cloud Computing.
The course is also delivered in vernacular languages to cater to a diverse student base and make quality education accessible to the complete Bharat. The learners will receive e-learning videos in multiple vernacular languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English, and many more, and live sessions will be delivered in English, allowing students to learn in their preferred language. Additionally, special classes to improve spoken and written English will be provided, which is essential for cracking job interviews and excelling in the professional world.
Students will work on innovative real-world projects to showcase their skills to potential employers. The programme offers flexible EMI options starting at INR 5,000 per month.
