Internshala Trainings has joined forces with TakeLessons by Microsoft to provide free learning and guidance sessions on the TakeLessons platform to K-12 and college-going students. According to the official release, these sessions will be led by industry experts in digital marketing, web development, human resources management, business communication skills, internship and job preparation, and MS Excel.

The platform also claims that through these sessions, industry experts will provide students with career guidance, clear their doubts, answer their career-related questions, and assist them in making an informed decision about choosing a career path.

TakeLessons, based in San Diego, was founded in 2006, is a collaboration platform designed to connect students with individual tutors and for tutors to create lessons that they can give to students virtually and in person. It offers instruction in various areas, from music lessons (where it began) to languages, academic subjects and test prep, computer skills, crafts, and more. It started as a platform for people to connect with tutors in their area for in-person lessons before expanding into online lessons to complement that business.

Speaking on the collaboration, Head of Internshala Trainings, Shadab Alam said:

In today’s ever-evolving world of rapid technological advancements and innovations, skilling has become the need of the hour, especially for a developing nation like India. Hence, the industry is also emphasising more and more skill-based hiring. This brings some confusion to the inspiring young minds of India who are looking to choose their education streams soon. They often need clarification on what career path they must explore to lead their way towards a successful career. Through this partnership, we intend to assist young learners with much-needed career counselling and help them make well-informed career decisions.

Internshala aims to equip every student with practical skills and exposure so that they can pursue their dreams. Internshala Trainings, its e-learning platform, is central to this mission. It is committed to providing students with the most sought-after, in-demand skills through its Training platform. The training on the portal is personalised and packed with informative, simple, and easy-to-understand video tutorials. It also gives students hands-on practice with quizzes, tests, and projects that help them apply their knowledge.
